(Editorial team) The 15th edition of the International Challenge Euposia – the first and only international challenge exclusively reserved for Champagnes and sparkling wines with refermentation in bottle – is going down in spring 2023 in Verona.
The decision came up from the organizers – The Italian Wine Journal and the Gruppo Editoriale L’Adige which controls it – considering the phase of strong development of the editorial component which requires the focus and commitment from the whole leader team of the Group.
The International Challenge Euposia will confirm in the next spring all the characteristics: scouting new international realities that propose Classic Method; valorizing Italian productions and denominations with particular attention to native vines, heroic and sustainable viticulture end “extreme” refinements. Confirmed the free participation for productors, the independence of the International Jury as well as the execution rules certified through the years by the Grand Jury Europeen and AssoEnologi: exclusively blind tasting, sample of all wines in the competition from all the jurors (exclusively professionals and journalist from the sector).
The International Challenge Euposia, in the mean time, will debut on Vinophila, the first metaverse realized for the wine world (just awarded for “Most Innovative in New Event Technology” for the British Corporate Live Wire) where it will carry out its own virtual space.
Location and date of the 15th edition of the International Challenge Euposia will be announced shortly.
