The Dusseldorf fair has presented ProWein 2025, which will have the motto “Discover the Taste of Tomorrow”.
An edition that has been condensed to “only” 11 halls, where will be hosted the entire world of wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.
The new layout includes two halls for Germany, 1 and 4, and two for Italy, 15 and 16.
France will be concentrated in hall 10, while Spain will be in hall 11.
New position for the producers of New World wines, who will be concentrated in hall 12, and for Portugal, which will occupy hall 9 together with the producers of Central-Eastern Europe.
Greece and Austria will share hall 17.
ProWein Zero, the area dedicated to low- or no-alcohol proposals, doubles its space in hall 1 to respond to the growth in consumption in this segment.
Spirits have always had a good presence at ProWein, so much so that last year the exhibitors of this sector were grouped under the name ProSpirits, occupying the entire Hall 5, where they will also be in 2025.
The nearby Hall 7 is confirmed as the one dedicated to HoReCa trends. Under the theme “same but different” here there will be the proposals of spirits, craft beers and ciders.
In addition to the offers of exhibitors from 60 countries, the discovery of tomorrow’s taste will be achieved with the strengthening of 2025 programs of ProWein Forum about the business issues concerning the wine industry and of the high-quality Masterclasses with wine from all over the world.
ProWein 2025 is anything but scaled down, as its Director Peter Schmitz declared: “Despite or precisely because times are so challenging, there is a great interest in ProWein. We are massively investing in new offers and services to provide the sector with exactly the support it needs now.”
The appointment is in Dusseldorf from 16 to 18 March 2025.
